Safair Operations, operating as FlySafair, has an exciting opportunity for an Aircraft Records Administrator at its Head Office in Johannesburg. This permanent position offers a key administrative role within FlySafair’s Maintenance Department and reports directly to the Maintenance Planning Manager.
The FlySafair Aircraft Records Administrator will be responsible for maintaining accurate, compliant, and well-organized aircraft documentation. Key duties include:
Administering all new aircraft and major module records entering the FlySafair fleet.
Managing lease return records and preparing digital delivery folders.
Updating MRO software and capturing flight hours, landings, oil usage, and defect reports.
Filing and scanning paperwork to maintain a compliant document storage system.
Identifying discrepancies on ATLRs and ensuring corrections are obtained.
Updating part changes, hours, and cycles for inducted aircraft.
Verifying and filing certificates for “on condition” and “hard time” components.
Capturing work packs and maintaining alignment with maintenance regulations.
Supporting compliance reporting and improvement initiatives within the department.
Fostering effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualification
Certificate/Diploma in Administration (Advantageous)
Experience
5–8 years in aircraft records control (Essential)
Systems
